Create Branded Social Stories in Seconds with GIPHY Stickers

Creating quality branded social content takes time…usually. In the past if a social creator wanted to share personalized content quickly, they’d likely have to transfer photos & videos into editing programs to add logos and other brand elements before posting. With GIPHY stickers, brands can keep their feeds full, and their workflows shorter. Let us give you a quick crash course. GIPHY is a database that serves up more than than 1 billion GIF views per day. With a verified branded channel, you can upload and share your transparent GIFs to be used on Instagram stories, Whatsapp, Tiktok, Facebook Messenger, Snapchat, and more. Each sticker can be searched by your account name as well as individually through tags set on GIPHY.

In order for the University of South Florida to add some extra WOW to their “Week of Welcome” social stories, Akullian Creative created custom stickers to add on their GIPHY channel. Their social team chose to use a sticker in 17 out of 20 social stories they put out in a 24 hour span during the event. They were sharing a wide variety of content quickly and kept it cohesive with their “Week of Welcome” sticker collection.

Through the use of this collection we created with them, they were able to brand their event content with their logos, colors, and even Rocky the mascot.

Currently, USF GIFs have over 127 Million collective views. With each semester, we continue to build out their GIPHY channel with updated and relevant content to keep up with what is occurring on campus and in the academic world. In addition to helping highlight their “Week of Welcome” event, we have also helped create custom sticker content for occasions such as Gasparilla, Homecoming, & Graduation, as well as stickers for residential and campus life, seasons, athletics and their “Stop the Spread” campaign against COVID-19.
